The title in the sidebar is not the one you put in the Info tab (above the box where you can put your description), but a seperate title you add in the Appearance tab. Make sure you use the right one:

if tumblr doesn’t show you this exact Appearance tab but the one from your old theme, try Reset Defaults or refresh the page :)
